Description
The Payette River National Scenic Byway is located in west-central Idaho. It follows Idaho State Highway 55, one of two highways linking the Boise area to northern Idaho (the other being US Route 95). It stretches for 112 miles (180 km) from Eagle to New Meadows, following the meandering path of the Payette River. Along the way, it passes through valleys, canyons, and forests, providing excellent views throughout its course. Places to fish, raft, and kayak are plentiful along the route, not just in the Payette River itself, but also Payette Lake and Lake Cascade. The Federal Highway Administration designated it as a National Scenic Byway in 2005.
Our Payette River Scenic Byway sign is a precise replica of those you’ll find marking the route. The sign features the logo of the scenic byway on a white background, with the name of the byway above and below it in brown. Our sign uses the same federal highway sign fonts seen on the original. Our sign makes a great way to relive your travels along this beautiful Idaho highway!
Our Payette River Scenic Byway sign is flat printed right here in the United States, on heavy 14-gauge steel. It has a glossy, non-reflective finish, which makes it a great addition to your home’s decor. You can install it outside too; the finish protects it from the harshest elements, even through an Idaho mountain winter. To ease installation, pre-drilled mounting holes are included. Choose one of the following sizes:
- 12 in. × 12 in.
- 16 in. × 16 in.
- 18 in. × 18 in.
- 24 in. × 24 in.
- 36 in. × 36 in.
