There’s nothing like a classic highway sign to liven up a historically faithful garage, bar, or man cave. At Signs by Jake, we find the best highway signs from times past and bring them back to life.

Recreated to the highest standards of quality
Each of our signs are researched in depth and recreated in painstaking detail, using historically-accurate fonts and with graphics and layouts recreated as exactly as historical reference materials will allow. Our signs will make even the most discerning collector stick their nose into them, as they look that good from that close!
Our signs are made of heavy 14-gauge steel, with unsurpassed quality, right here in the good old US of A. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality. No cheap tin to be found here, or any other manner of embarrassing imperfection.
“Quality at every step of the process; ordering and design, shipping precautions over the top, product beyond highest expectations! You are to be commended on your fine fine business model!!”
Diane from North Carolina
Excellent display pieces for just a fraction of the price
Many of the signs we recreate have long since disappeared from the highways they served. Any surviving originals are often in the hands of private collectors. Only a handful of examples of the older designs exist—if even that. Originals of these would cost many hundreds or thousands of dollars if they ever came to the market.
With our recreations, you get your hands on the sign you want, easily and with confidence. Avoid the collector market and the perils of low supply and high demand.
“The signs are absolutely beautiful. And you made the whole process super easy. I really appreciated your design/sizing guidance, and tremendous ongoing communication.”
JOHN FROM RHODE ISLAND
The right sign, every time
Our signs have appeared in museums, at historical markers, and even in major motion pictures. That’s because when historical accuracy matters, we sweat the small stuff. Our signs are as close as you can get to the real thing without a time machine!
Can’t find the sign you want?
Would you like a route marker with a number not seen here? Or perhaps in a different style? Or do you know of a classic mileage, direction, or city limit guide sign we don’t have listed? We can make signs with any route number or in any style of your choice. Anything you would like—just contact Jake to get started.
“Life doesn’t happen along the Interstates. It’s against the law.”

Clearance sale!
Jake has a big stack of signs on his desk he needs to move! The top sign of the stack will be reduced in price until it sells, then the sale moves to the next one in the stack. Not even Jake knows what’s in it (look, 14-gauge steel is heavy, okay), so what’s coming next is a surprise to everyone!
