Description
Cypress Park is a historic neighborhood in Northeast Los Angeles, nestled between the Los Angeles River and the Arroyo Seco. Originally developed in 1882, the area is known for its rich cultural heritage and working-class roots. Over the years, Cypress Park has experienced gradual revitalization, while retaining much of its original charm. Its relative affordability and proximity to downtown L.A. makes it an attractive place to live for young professionals and artists. The neighborhood features a mix of early 20th-century homes (including many in the Craftsman style), local eateries, and green spaces like Rio de Los Angeles State Park.
Our Cypress Park neighborhood boundary sign is a precise replica of those found along the streets leading into the neighborhood. It features the city seal at the top of the sign, with “Cypress Park” appearing in white on a blue field below. Signs of this style are used at the limits of the City of Los Angeles, as well as the boundaries of the city’s over-100 officially-recognized neighborhoods. These signs are normally posted way up high, on a traffic signal pole. There isn’t really an innocent explanation for why you’d be up there, so avoid a run-in with LAPD with our faithful replica.
Our Cypress Park neighborhood sign is flat-printed on heavy-duty American steel. It has a glossy, non-retroreflective finish, allowing it to both look good indoors and stand up to the elements when displayed outdoors. To make installation easy, pre-drilled mounting holes are included. Choose from the following sizes:
- 19¼ in. × 7 in.
- 27½ in. × 10 in.
- 41¼ in. × 15 in.
