Bisexual flag sign

Description

The bisexual flag is an international symbol of pride for the bisexual community. It was created in 1998 by Florida bisexual activist Michael Page. Page described the flag’s blue stripe as representing the attraction to the opposite sex and the pink stripe as representing attraction to one’s own sex. The purple stripe in the middle, a blend of the two colors flanking it, represented how bisexual people blend seamlessly into both the gay and straight communities. As time has gone on and prevailing attitudes in the LGBT community toward gender have changed, the bisexual flag’s meaning has subtly shifted as well. The pink stripe is now said to represent attraction to genders other than one’s own, while the purple stripe now represents attraction regardless of sex or gender.

Our bisexual flag sign is printed on heavy 14-gauge steel. It won’t wave in the wind like a fabric flag, but it will withstand the elements for a much longer time.
