Description

Highway 557 is one of Ontario’s secondary provincial highways. It begins at King’s Highway 17 in the town of Blind River, then proceeds north from there alongside the river of the same name, crossing it below Lake Duborne. It continues northward, all the way to the south shore of Matinenda Lake, where it ends at the provincial park there. As a secondary highway, Highway 557 is signed with a white trapezoid route marker that features the Ontario coat of arms at the top.

Our Ontario Secondary Highway 557 route marker is a precise replica of those you’ll find along this scenic backwoods highway. Every detail is just like the original, including the layouts, the fonts used, and the details of the coat of arms. It’s a great way to show your love for the beautiful Ontario wilderness this highway passes through! It makes an excellent display piece in your man cave, garage, bar, cabin, office, or anywhere else you can think of!

Our Ontario Secondary Highway 557 sign is flat printed on heavy 14-gauge steel. It has a glossy, non-reflective finish, allowing it to pair well with any room’s decor. It is also weatherproof and will withstand the elements for years with installed outdoors, even through a harsh Canadian winter. Mounting holes are included to make installation easy. We offer it in the following sizes:

  • 300 mm × 300 mm
  • 450 mm × 450 mm (the smaller of the two sizes posted along the roads)
  • 600 mm × 600 mm
  • 900 mm × 900 mm (the larger of the two sizes found in the field)

We can make a secondary highway shield like this one with any number! We can also make Ontario King’s Highway shields, Trans-Canada Highway signs, welcome signs, directional signs, you name it!
