Description
The five-stripe transgender flag is an international symbol of pride for the transgender community. It was created in 1999 by transgender rights activist Monica Helms. The flag uses stripes in both pink and light blue, the traditional American colors for baby girls and boys respectively. An additional white stripe in the center represents nonbinary individuals. The flag is designed so that it is symmetrical, meaning there is no “wrong way” to fly the flag; this symbolizes the trans experience of finding correctness in one’s life.
Our transgender flag sign is printed on heavy 14-gauge steel. It will remain resilient and strong in the face of the harsh outdoor elements for much longer than a traditional fabric flag, although it won’t wave in the wind. It is also an excellent indoor display piece as well, thanks to its glossy finish. You can choose from six sizes, from 15 in. × 9 in. all the way up to a colossal 90 in. × 54 in. Each size includes two holes for quick installation. (Is your pride flag missing from our site? Or are you looking for the flag of your city, state, country, or organization?
