Welcome to Idaho sign

Description

For most of the 21st century, Idaho has used this simple sign to welcome travelers to the state. It bears the greeting “Welcome to Idaho” in white on a blue background. The word Idaho is rendered as the familiar, iconic wordmark that appears in many places across the state.

We’ve recreated this classic Welcome to Idaho sign for your enjoyment at home. To make this sign, we’ve used the official standards established by the Idaho Transportation Department, as they appear in the April 2020 ITD Supplement to the Standard Highway Signs and Markings Book. That means that this sign will be just like those found in Idaho, with one important exception. The smallest size ITD makes these signs in is eight feet wide. Our Welcome to Idaho sign is scaled down to a much more manageable size for use as a home decor item.

Our Welcome to Idaho sign is proudly printed in the United States on heavy 14-gauge steel. It is non-reflective, with a glossy finish that makes it durable enough to make it through a harsh Idaho winter. Mounting holes are included for easy installation. Take your pick from the following sizes:

• 16 in. × 8 in.
• 24 in. × 12 in.
• 36 in. × 18 in.
• 48 in. × 24 in.
• 72 in. × 36 in. (this one is so big, to make printing and shipping it practical, it will be split into two panels)
