Description

The Conestoga wagon is an enduring symbol of the state of Nebraska. Used by the state’s first settlers, the wagon (together with the man and woman riding it and the oxen pulling it) has appeared on every iteration of Nebraska’s state highway marker, from 1925 to the present day. It also appeared on signage welcoming travelers to the state for many years. This particular design, introduced in 1971, was the most recent to do so. It was used until about 1984, when it was replaced with the Nebraska…The Good Life series still in use today.

Our Welcome to Nebraska Conestoga covered wagon sign is an exact recreation of the signs installed along the highways of Nebraska throughout the 1970s. While most of them have long since been retired, a few still enjoy their active service on the highways. With our replica, you can secure and excellent display piece for your office, bar, garage, man cave, or anywhere else without needing a time machine or risking a run-in with the authorities.

Our Welcome to Nebraska Conestoga covered wagon sign is printed right here in the United States on heavy 14-gauge steel. It is a non-reflective sign, with a high-gloss coating protecting it from the elements. That means you can display it, indoors or outdoors, for years to come. Mounting holes are included for your convenience in installation. Take your pick from the following sizes:

  • 16 in. × 8 in.
  • 24 in. × 12 in.
  • 36 in. × 18 in.
  • 48 in. × 24 in.
  • 72 in. × 36 in.
