Description
El Salvador is located on the south coast of Central America, with Guatemala to its northwest and Honduras to its northeast. The country welcomes travelers with a variety of different signs marking its land borders. One of the more recent designs is a white-on-blue design with text reading “Bienvenidos a la República de El Salvador”, or “Welcome to the Republic of El Salvador”. To the left of the text is the El Salvador coat of arms.
Our Welcome to the Republic of El Salvador sign is a replica of these newer national welcome signs. We’ve used photographs of the signs in the field to ensure its accuracy. Like the original, it uses the DIN font set that is also used for highway signs in Germany (including the famous Autobahn). It’s a great way to commemorate your travels through El Salvador!
