Description
Hale Street is a residential street in San Francisco, California. Only about 2000 feet long, the street is located in the Portola district in the southeast part of the city, near the interchange between Interstate 280 and US 101.
Our Hale Street sign is a precise replica made according to the classic 1965 specification for San Francisco street signs. These signs are white with black, all-caps text, in the standard road sign fonts. The block number 100, signifying the intersection with Barneveld Avenue, appears in a tab above the main body of the sign. Our Hale Street sign is printed in the United States on heavy 14-gauge steel. It’s durable enough to be installed indoors or outdoors, and has a glossy but non-retroreflective finish. Pre-drilled holes are included for easy installation. Choose from the following sizes:
- 21 in. × 7 in.
- 30 in. × 10 in.
- 36 in. × 12 in. (the size of the original signs found on San Francisco streets)
And then one of the following layout options:
- Single-sided with right arrow
- Single-sided with left arrow
- Double-sided
We can make a sign like this with any street name and block number! We can also make signs in the newer 2009 style (which is the first to use mixed-case text), the older 1946 style with the block letters, and even the blue-and-white 1921 style. We can also make signs from Los Angeles, Orange County, Las Vegas, Chicago, New York, or any other city! Don’t see your favorite street on our site? Contact us today to place a custom order!
