The Blue Ridge Parkway is a unique highway in the eastern Appalachian Mountains. It stretches for 469 miles across North Carolina and Virginia, following the spine of the Blue Ridge mountain chain. The Blue Ridge Parkway was not meant to be an efficient course from city to city. Instead, the National Park Service built it to be a scenic attraction in its own right. The road avoids major cities in favor of providing access to scenic vistas, hiking trails, and campgrounds. Along the way, travelers pass through 26 tunnels cutting through the mountains. Despite being deliberately engineered to be a road less traveled, year after year, it is the most-visited attraction in the entire national park system. The state of North Carolina even chose the Blue Ridge Parkway to represent it in the state quarter program.
We’ve made our Blue Ridge Parkway sign to be an precise replica of the original markers posted along the highway. We’ve accurately recreated the distinctive fonts and artwork using photographs of the original signs as reference. One of these markers makes a great addition to any garage, man cave, cabin, or any room with a rugged Appalachian theme. And with our replica, you don’t have to deal with the hassle and expense of tracking one down on the collector’s market. Our signs are always available, and they look just like the real thing, too!
Our Blue Ridge Parkway sign is flat printed on heavy 14-gauge steel. Its durable non-reflective finish makes it perfect to be enjoyed indoors or outdoors. You can choose from sizes ranging from 12 inches square up to 36 inches square to fit your display needs.
