Description
White Mountain National Forest is among the most visited outdoor recreation sites east of the Mississippi. It is primarily located in New Hampshire; a small fraction of it lies across the state line into Maine. The forest features 1,200 miles (1,900 km) of hiking trails and 23 campgrounds within its borders. It also contains most of New Hampshire’s peaks above 4,000 feet. This includes Mount Washington, the highest peak in New Hampshire. On top of all that, it is renowned for its scenic beauty; White Mountain National Forest is among the top spots nationwide for leaf-peeping in the fall months.
Our Entering White Mountain National Forest sign is an exact replica of the signs found at the entrance to this popular national forest. We’ve made it precisely to the specifications published by the U.S. Forest Service for signs of this type. In addition to the name of the forest, it features the wordmark of the National Forest system prominently on a distinctive four-sided brown background. It’s a perfect gift or display piece for anyone with fond memories of visiting White Mountain National Forest.
We’ve flat-printed this sign on durable, non-reflective 14-gauge steel, suitable for indoor or outdoor display. We’ve scaled it down to a range of manageable sizes; you can choose from 15 in. × 10 in., 21 in. × 14 in., and 36 in. × 24 in. varieties. For your convenience, we’ve even pre-drilled the mounting holes for you. (Looking for a different size, or want a sign like this for your favorite National Forest?
