Description
The Amalfi Coast (Italian: Costiera Amalfitana) is one of the most celebrated stretches of the Mediterranean shoreline. It’s located in Italy’s Campania region, near the town of Amalfi. Its varied geography includes vineyards and citrus groves, woods, rocky cliffs, and beaches. The area has been settled continuously since the 4th century, when a Rome established a colony there. Since the 1700s, this region has been a prime destination for European high society. Thousands of tourists visit the region every year. In 1997, UNESCO designated it a World Heritage Site in honor of its beauty and great cultural significance.
Show your love for this stretch of the Mediterranean coastline by adding our Amalfi Coast signs to your collection. We offer two variations of this sign. The first is a diagrammatic sign, pointing the way to both the Amalfi Coast and to Napoli (Naples) via the A3 motorway. The second is a simpler sign featuring just the brown “Costiera Amalfitana” cartouche that appears on the larger diagrammatic sign. We’ve designed both signs with care to match Italian road signage norms, using photos of original signs as reference.
Both signs are printed on heavy, durable 14-gauge steel. They are suitable for everyday display, both indoors and out. We’ve made both signs available in four sizes to fit your unique design needs. All of them include two holes for convenient mounting. (Need one of these signs in a size not listed here? Or perhaps you’d like another Italian road sign? Or maybe one closer to your hometown? We can help with all of those! Just contact Jake to get started on your custom order.)
