The Newark Bay Extension is a spur off of the New Jersey Turnpike’s Exit 14. This is a segment of Interstate 78 that is maintained and tolled by the Turnpike Authority. The extension parallels the mainline turnpike, providing access to exits 14A for Bayonne, 14B for Jersey City and Liberty State Park, and 14C for the Holland Tunnel. Exit 14 also provides access to Newark Liberty Airport, which adjoins the turnpike mainline.

Our New Jersey Turnpike Exit 14 guide sign is made to the classic Turnpike Authority standards. This style was developed prior to the federal standards for freeway signage, and thus has a unique Jersey flair to it, such as the enlarged exit number (probably why New Jersey Turnpike exit numbers are so well known!) and the big wavy arrow instead of the typical diagonal arrow. The original of this sign was replaced by one in the modern style in the mid-2010s and probably no longer survives. Even if it does, it would be far too large to use as a display piece. With our freeway sign replicas, you can proudly show off the sign for your favorite exit, scaled down to a reasonable size.
