Description
The Belt Parkway is a highway running along the southwest coast of Long Island. In Brooklyn, it passes under the eastmost portion of the Verrazzano Narrows Bridge to Staten Island. Exit 3 connects the Belt Parkway with the bridge. This exit is signed with a diagrammatic sign, a sign with a large split arrow with dashed lines depicting which lanes go where. Drivers may either bear to the right to get onto the bridge, and thus Interstate 278 west, or stay on the Belt Parkway toward I-278 east and the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway.
Our Belt Parkway, Brooklyn-Queens Expressway, Verrazano Bridge exit sign is an exact replica of the sign that appears on the Belt Parkway in Brooklyn. We’ve used the federal highway sign standards, as well as pictures of the original sign, to make sure our sign is just like the original. The original sign is, however, quite massive; it’s wide. We’ve scaled it down to a range of sizes, from 18 in. × 7½ in. to 48 in. × 20 in., to make it an excellent home decor item.
Our Belt Parkway diagrammatic exit sign is flat printed, right here in the USA, on heavy 14-gauge steel. Its non-reflective, high-gloss finish is durable enough to be displayed, indoors or outdoors, for years to come. (It makes a perfect addition to any game room, garage, bar, or man cave!) It includes mounting holes to make installation a breeze.
