Description
Lindsey Street is one of the main east-west streets in Norman, Oklahoma. It passes through the heart of the University of Oklahoma campus. One of the most well-known landmarks in the city, Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, the home field of the Oklahoma Sooners football team, is located on Lindsey Street. Owing to the street’s importance in moving traffic between the OU campus and Interstate 35, all of Lindsey Street between I-35 and Classen Boulevard (which was then US-77) was designated State Highway 74A prior to 2009.
Our Lindsey Street sign is made to the exact specifications currently used by the City of Norman for traffic-signal-mounted street signage. This design is the white-on-green design which first became common in the city in 2017. It includes the former city flag, which is still in use as an emblem of the city government. This sign includes the block number 100 East, which appears at the intersection with Jenkins Avenue, right by Memorial Stadium. Our sign is the closest thing you can get to the real thing without climbing a pole and chancing a run-in with Norman PD!
Our Lindsey Street sign is printed on 14-gauge steel right here in America. It is non-reflective to make it an ideal display piece. You can also install it outdoors and it will last for years, even in Oklahoma’s chaotic weather! Pre-drilled holes make it easy to hang pretty much anywhere, too! Take your pick from the following sizes:
- 22½ in. × 5 in.
- 36 in. × 8 in.
- 45 in. × 10 in.
We can make a sign like this for any street in Norman! We can also make the same type of sign for just about every city in the world!
