Québec Route 389 is a provincial highway located in the Côte-Nord (North Coast) region of eastern Québec. Approximately 567 kilometers (352 miles) long, the route runs from Route 138 in Baie-Comeau north to the Labrador line.  Along the way, Route 389 provides access to the town of Fermont. Despite being a primary provincial highway, some of the areas Route 389 passes through are so remote and lightly-trafficked that the road is unpaved. At the border with Labrador, Route 389 connects to the Trans-Labrador Highway (Route 500).
