Scotland octopus/kraken warning sign

In the town of Tongue on Scotland’s north coast, motorists can see quite an unusual warning sign. It shows a car in the grip of an enormous octopus, or possibly a kraken. Apparently, driving around Scotland not only subjects you to the possibility an encounter with the Loch Ness Monster or the national animal, the unicorn, but this too. Thankfully, the authorities have provided this advance warning of running into an overgrown cephalopod. (Either that or it’s the work of some very talented prankster or vandal.)

Our octopus/kraken warning sign lets you show your respect for the creatures of the deep, that they might allow you to pass by the shore unharmed. Using photographs of the original sign, we’ve made a precise replica that makes an excellent addition to any place where you might need to warn someone of a tentacle attack.

Our octopus/kraken warning sign is printed on heavy 14-gauge steel. It has a smooth, glossy, non-reflective finish that pairs well with any home’s decor. It is durable enough to stand up to the elements when installed outdoors as well. To make installation easier, two pre-drilled mounting holes are provided. Select the size that works best for you:
