Ukraine Fuck Off Back To Russia (ДО РОСІЇ НА ХУЙ) sign

Description

As Russian forces began streaming into Ukraine in February 2022, it soon became clear that the enemy was not well versed on the finer points of Ukrainian geography. Ukravtodor (the Ukrainian highway department) did its part to hamper the enemy by ordering the removal of all guide signs throughout the country. It announced this initiative on Facebook on February 26.

The message was accompanied by a photo of a Ukrainian sign that had been digitally altered to show a new message. On the top row, the sign reads НА ХУЙ (“fuck off”). Below that is the text ЗНОВ НА ХУЙ (“again, fuck off”). The final line of text reads ДО РОСІЇ НА ХУЙ (“fuck off back to Russia”). “Let’s help them get straight to hell,” Ukravtodor says. The Ukrainian message then switches to Russian for its final sign-off: “FUCK YOU”, in all caps.

We’ve brought Ukravtodor’s edited sign to life for your enjoyment. Our recreation of this sign is printed on heavy 14-gauge steel. It uses the standard Ukrainian signage fonts in use as of 2021. (Whichever Ukravtodor staffer created the original image understandably had more pressing concerns than use of standard fonts.)
