Denver is the capital of and largest city in the state of Colorado. This unique city limit sign was installed at the entrances to the city as part of the celebration of Colorado’s centennial in 1976. It shows a family aboard a covered wagon making their way across the plains of eastern Colorado. The Rocky Mountains and the forests are visible in the background. In the upper right is the seal of the Colorado Centennial celebrations.
Our Welcome to Denver, City Limits sign is a faithful replica of the original signs found along the streets during the late 1970s. It’s made using photos of an original that was exhibited as a public display welcoming attendees to a convention in Denver. Originals of this sign in good condition are very rare to find on the collector’s market. When you do find them, they’re sure to go for hundreds or even thousands of dollars. With our replica, you can get an excellent display piece for only a fraction of the cost. It makes a great addition to any man cave, garage, bar, office, or anywhere else that could use a touch of pioneer charm!
Our Welcome to Denver, City Limits sign is a high-quality replica, printed on heavy 14-gauge steel in the United States. It is non-reflective, with a high-gloss finish that makes an attractive addition to any room’s decor. You can install it outside, too; our signs are rugged enough they’ll even withstand a Colorado snowstorm! And for ease of installation, there are pre-drilled mounting holes for your convenience. We’ve made it available in the following sizes:
- 12 in. × 9 in.
- 20 in. × 15 in.
- 24 in. × 18 in.
