From 1997 to 2015, the state of Montana welcomed visitors arriving by road with a unique state line sign. It was cut to the shape of the state, featuring the words “Welcome to Montana” over the image of mountains towering over a golden field. Although this design has been retired, you can still find it here and there on the more minor roads leading into Montana.
Our Welcome to Montana sign is a faithful replica of the signs that were installed for 17 years along Montana’s state lines. Using photographs of existing signs in the field, we’ve painstakingly replicated every detail. The graphics, fonts, and state outline shape are all just like the originals. It’s a must-have for any fan of Big Sky Country, and makes a handsome addition to any office, bar, garage, man cave, or wherever else you’d like to display it.
Our Welcome to Montana sign is printed right here in America on solid 14-gauge steel. Its glossy, non-reflective coating allows it to serve you well in any conditions, either indoors or out in a harsh Montana winter. Pre-drilled mounting holes make it easy to hang anywhere you like. These signs are colossal in scale, so we’ve scaled them down to these convenient sizes:
