Description
Running north and south up the length of New Jersey is a toll road called the Garden State Parkway. 25 miles north of the road’s southern end in Cape May, drivers can take Exit 25 to US 9 toward Ocean City. Located on a barrier island the north end of Cape May County, Ocean City was founded in 1884. The original idea for the town came from four Methodist ministers. They chose the spot as an ideal location for a Christian retreat. From that, Ocean City grew into a family-friendly resort town on the Jersey Shore. It is one of only 23 towns that ban the sale or public consumption of alcohol. 39% of the city’s land is reserved for parks and recreation purposes.
We’ve recreated the sign for Exit 25 to Ocean City from the Garden State Parkway for your enjoyment at home. It is made according to the 2009 federal standards for freeway signs. Using photos of the original sign, we’ve duplicated its precise layout, as well as using the FHWA Series fonts found on most American road signs. The result is a replica that is a faithful recreation of the original in every way. It’s a great way to commemorate your vacations to Ocean City, and makes a great addition to any garage, bar, man cave, or any room with a beachy theme!
Our Exit 25 to Ocean City guide sign is printed on heavy 14-gauge steel in the United States. Its glossy, non-reflective finish will allow it to be displayed, indoors or out, for years to come. Pick the size that’s right from you, from 14 in. × 8 in. all the way up to 63 in. × 36 in. Each version has two convenient mounting holes for easy installation.
