Description

Just before midnight on the night of October 4, 1967, officials received a report that an object had crashed into the sea off the coast of Shag Harbour, Nova Scotia. Eleven or more witnesses saw something lit up flying overhead, before descending into the waters below. Search and rescue parties were dispatched, but upon reaching the site, could find nothing: no survivors, no debris. Even divers scouring the area were unable to find any trace of the object. To this day, the object has never been officially identified—a true unidentified flying object, or UFO.

Our Site of 1967 UFO Incident guide sign is a precise replica of the sign posted by the Nova Scotia Department of Public Works to point visitors to the site. Every detail of our sign has been meticulously replicated from photographs of the original, from the layout to the fonts used to the letter spacing. It makes a great addition to any bar, garage, man cave, or anywhere else you’d like to commemorate your travels along the south coast of Nova Scotia.
