San Francisco’s 25th Avenue is part of a run of north-south avenues that starts at Arguello Avenue and extends to the west, ending at 48th Avenue near Great Highway. 25th Avenue exists in four sections: the southernmost from Eucalyptus Drive to Sloat Boulevard, the second from just south of Vicente Street to the Sunset Reservoir, the third from the reservoir to Golden Gate Park, and the fourth from the park to Baker Beach.

Our 25th Avenue sign is a faithful replica of the signage marking the street as it makes its way through San Francisco. We’ve made it follow the iconic 1965 specification for the city’s street signs. The 1965 standards, which were used until 2009, was the last revision to specify all capital letters. It uses the standard FHWA Series road sign fonts, in black on a white background. The block number 2600 appears in a tab above the street name; this number appears on the signs at the intersection with Vicente Street.

Our replica 25th Avenue sign features quality printing on heavy steel. Its glossy coating is non-reflective, and the sign can be posted either indoors or outdoors. We can print this sign either on one side, or on both sides; the double-sided sign has the arrows on both sides pointing the same direction, as on the originals. Pre-drilled mounting holes allow for the sign to be installed either flush to a wall, or hanging from one end, as it would be mounted in the field.
