Description
Fallon Place is a short pedestrian walk off of Taylor Street, between Broadway and Green Street. Despite not being open to vehicle traffic, there is a Fallon Place street sign where it splits off of Taylor Street. Our Fallon Place sign is a faithful replica of this sign. It follows the familiar 1965 standards for San Francisco street signs. This was the last style that used all capital letters, and is no longer posted, though it’s not hard to find examples still in service as of 2023. This street sign makes a great gift for anyone with ties to this part of San Francisco!
Our Fallon Place sign is printed in the United States on heavy 14-gauge steel. With a glossy, non-reflective, waterproof finish, it will serve you well for years to come, whether installed indoors or outdoors. We’ve pre-drilled mounting holes that will allow you to easily install it flush against a wall, or cantilever it from a pole, just like on the streets of San Francisco. Take your pick of one of three sizes:
- 21 in. × 7 in.
- 30 in. × 10 in.
- 36 in. × 12 in. (the original size of the signs posted in the field)
And select one of the following layout options:
- Single-sided (arrow pointing right)
- Single-sided (arrow pointing left)
- Double sided (printed with a complementary legend on each side so the arrows point the same direction)
We can make signs like this with any street name or block number! We can also make them in the newer, mixed-case 2009 style, the older 1946 style, and even styles older than that! Want to place a custom order? It’s easy! Just contact Jake to get started.
