Minna Street is a narrow street, almost an alleyway, running alongside Mission Street in San Francisco. For much of its length it is only wide enough to accommodate one lane of traffic, with the rest used for parking. Minna Street exists in a number of disconnected segments. Two of them are one-way going northeast to southwest: one from just short of 5th Street to 9th Street, and another from 10th Street to Lafayette Street. Two other segments go the opposite direction, from southwest to northeast: one from 5th Street to 4th Street, alongside the Moscone Convention Center West, and the other from 3rd Street to 1st Street. This latter segment ends at the foot of the Salesforce Tower, the tallest building in San Francisco and the tallest in California until 2017.
