Description
US Route 501 is a highway from Virginia to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Myrtle Beach is well known as a resort town on the Atlantic coast. The city hosts over 20,000,000 visitors each year, with 100,000 of those coming from other countries. Myrtle Beach is also home to over 100 golf courses, many of which are public, leading Tiger Woods to declare the city “the mecca of golf” in 1997.
Our South Carolina US Route 501 South, Myrtle Beach sign is a replica of one that appears over the ramp from SC 31 to southbound US 501. It’s made to the exact 2009 South Carolina state standards for signs of this type. It makes a perfect home decor item, allowing you to relive the good times you’ve had in Myrtle Beach in the comfort of your own home. The original sign is mounted to a truss over a freeway on-ramp, so you’re not going to be getting it down any time soon. Even if you did, it’s also over 17 feet wide, so what would you do with it? Our faithful replica is scaled down to these much easier to handled sizes:
- 14 in. × 8 in.
- 21 in. × 12 in.
- 35 in. × 20 in.
- 42 in. × 24 in.
- 63 in. × 36 in. (printed on two 31½ in. wide panels)
Our US Route 501 South, Myrtle Beach sign is flat printed on heavy 14-gauge steel. It has a glossy, nonreflective finish that allows it to serve as both an attractive home decor item, or be installed outdoors as well. All sizes include mounting holes to make installation easy.
Is there another size, not listed here, that you would like? Or perhaps there’s another guide sign you’re looking for, from South Carolina or somewhere else? We would be happy to make a custom sign, just for you! Just contact Jake to get started on your custom order.
