Description
US Route 441, also known as the Orange Blossom Trail, crosses the entire length of Florida from north to south. It enters the state south of Valdosta, Georgia, and from there angles southeast to Miami, passing through Gainesville and Orlando along the way. During the 1930s, the highway was signed with unique markers in the shape of an orange. While these markers have long since disappeared from US-441, the name “Orange Blossom Trail” still lives on in various places along the route, notably in the Orlando area.
We’ve brought the classic orange-shaped Orange Blossom Trail markers back to life. Using classic photos of the 1930s route markers, we’ve created a replica so precise even the most seasoned collectors would be forgiven for thinking it’s the real thing! Signs like this don’t come up on the collector’s market very often, and when they do, expect to pay a premium for them. Skip the wait and the high prices and get the sign you really want with our faithful replica.
Our Orange Blossom Trail marker is flat printed in the USA on heavy 14-gauge steel. It is a non-reflective sign, with a glossy coating much like the porcelain signage of the era. This sign is weatherproof, making it perfect for installation indoors or out. Choose from sizes of 11 in. × 13 in., 14 in. × 16 in., or 28 in. × 32 in. All three sizes include two pre-drilled holes for easy hanging. (Looking for another sign, from Florida or elsewhere? Custom orders are no problem for us! Just contact Jake to get started.)
