Description
The state of Arizona was admitted to the union on Valentine’s Day, 1912, as the last of the “Lower 48” states. One hundred years later, the Arizona Department of Transportation posted these special Arizona Centennial signs in recognition of that achievement. They appeared mostly at the state lines; however, you could also find them in other, seemingly-random locations throughout the state. Their design incorporates a portion of the Arizona state flag, along with the dates 1912 and 2012.
Now that the centennial festivities have long since wrapped up, an original Arizona Centennial sign is very rare to find scrapped. That’s why we’ve brought it back to life, designing it to the exact 2012 standards. Our recreation makes an excellent display piece for your garage, den, or man cave.
Our Arizona Centennial sign is flat printed on heavy-gauge steel. It comes in four sizes: 12, 16, 24, and 36 inch square. It is a non-reflective sign—perfect for ordinary display, indoors or outdoors. (if you would like a different size version, please ask Jake, as he can certainly make one!)
