Description
San Diego County is in California’s southwest corner, bordering Mexico and the Pacific Ocean. It is, of course, home to California’s second-biggest city, San Diego. But the county also includes a number of smaller cities, like Chula Vista, Oceanside, Escondido, and Carlsbad. America’s military has a large presence in San Diego County. Naval Base San Diego is the principal home port of the U.S. Navy’s Pacific Fleet, and Camp Pendleton on the north edge of the county is one of the U.S. Marines’ largest bases. San Diego County’s culture is a blend of American and Mexican culture, thanks to its location on the national border. Recreational opportunities in the area include the world-renowned San Diego Zoo, the many beaches along the coast, and the racetrack at Del Mar.
Our San Diego County Line sign is a precise replica of the signs you’ll see as you enter the county on the region’s highways. It is made according to the exact Caltrans standards for county line signs in the state of California. Our replica looks just like the real thing, because, mathematically, it is! But our signs are scaled down from their gigantic real-world sizes, making them an excellent home decor item for household display.
Our San Diego County Line sign is printed on heavy-duty 14-gauge steel for excellent durability. It’s non-reflective, with a high-gloss coating that will last for years without fading, even in the Southern California sun. We’ve also included pre-drilled holes to make hanging it up simple and easy! Choose one of the following sizes:
- 19¼ in. × 7 in.
- 27½ in. × 10 in.
- 41¼ in. × 15 in.
We can make a sign like this for any of the 58 counties of California! We can also make city limit signs, directional signs, route markers—if it’s a road sign, we can do it! And, of course, our capabilities are not just limited to California; we can do signs from anywhere in the world! Want something you don’t see on our website?
