Colorado State Highway 14 is the longest state highway in the Centennial State, clocking in at around 237 miles (381 km). The route begins at US Route 40 at Muddy Pass, on the Continental Divide. From there, SH 14 crosses the North Park basin before rising to an elevation of 10,276 feet (3,132 m) at Cameron Pass. It then drops down out of the mountains to serve the city of Fort Collins and the Pawnee National Grassland in Weld County. Highway 14 ends at US 6 in Sterling.
