Description
The Lake Michigan Circle Tour is a scenic route that forms a complete loop around Lake Michigan. It was designated in 1988 and traverses four states: Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Special signs are posted guiding travelers along the route, showing the outlines of the four states that border the lake. The Lake Michigan Circle Tour is part of a larger system of scenic routes called the Great Lakes Circle Tour, which circles all five of the lakes, even extending into parts of Canada.
Revisit your memories exploring the Lake Michigan shoreline with our replica of the Lake Michigan Circle Tour marker. It’s made to be an exact duplicate of the original signs lining the route. No detail is spared; we’ve even used the fonts the federal government specifies for use on American road signs! It’s the closest you’ll get to the real thing without going to the lake yourself! Not only that, the sign collector’s market can be a pretty daunting place. Choose our replica and you’ll avoid the hassle and expense of tracking down an original sign of this design.
Our Lake Michigan Circle Tour sign is flat printed on heavy 14-gauge steel. Our version is non-reflective, making it a perfect addition to your home decor. It can stand up to the harsh Midwestern winters when installed outdoors, too. We offer it in the original 24 in. × 24 in. and 36 in. × 36 in. sizes as seen in the field, as well as smaller 12 in. × 12 in. and 16 in. × 16 in. versions for more convenient display. All four sizes include two pre-drilled holes to make hanging it up no problem at all. (Want this sign in a different size? Or perhaps a sign for a different scenic route from anywhere in the world? We’re always happy to put together a new design! Just contact Jake to get started on your custom order.)
